About Letena

Letena is a set of notes by a few people from Kaunas and Vilnius. For years we fostered dogs, drove them to vets, photographed them and wrote their adverts. Friends and neighbours kept asking the same questions, so we wrote the answers down in one place.

What we do not do

• We do not keep or rehome dogs.
• We do not collect donations or publish bank details.
• We do not collect personal data: there are no forms, ads or trackers on this site.
• We do not give veterinary advice – our notes come from experience, not from a diploma.

Using the texts

Feel free to share and print the texts, as long as you credit the source and keep the meaning. The “I found a dog” checklist is made for printing.

How often it is updated

We review the texts every season; the last time was September 2026.

“Letena” means “paw” in Lithuanian.
