Šešėlis, ten years old

Šešėlis – a black ten-year-old dog with a greying muzzle – spent almost a year at the shelter. Younger dogs kept leaving for new homes; he kept staying.

He was adopted by a retired teacher who was looking for a calm companion for her walks. Šešėlis walks at his own pace, sleeps a lot and does not demand constant attention. They are both very happy with that.
